Calendar Checker ยท last updated: November 5, 2026
Calendar Checker is a personal-use Chrome extension that shows your Google Calendar events. This policy explains which data it accesses and how it is handled.
Data it accesses
With your consent, the extension reads, in read-only mode (calendar.readonly access), your list of calendars
and their events: title, date and time, event link, your response status, configured reminders and the calendar color. It
does not access any other data in your Google account and never changes anything in Google Calendar.
How it uses the data
The data is used only to display the month view, to show the next event on the extension icon and to trigger reminders. It is never used for advertising, profiling or any other purpose.
Where it is stored
- Events and reminder state are stored only locally in your browser (the extension's storage area).
- Settings, meaning which calendars to show, are stored in Chrome's synced storage and therefore follow your Chrome profile.
- The extension has no servers of its own: no data is ever sent to the developer.
Sharing with third parties
No data is shared, sold or transferred to third parties, and there are no analytics or tracking tools. The only network communication of the extension is with the Google Calendar API to read your data.
Compliance with Google policies
The use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Revoking access and deleting data
You can revoke access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Removing the extension from Chrome also deletes all locally stored data.
